Alice in the Forest, and new prints!

Hello everyone! I wanted to share my newest painting with you, "Alice in the Forest." The pictures are a tiny bit washed-out, I must apologize for that. I had this little idea for a painting for a while and finally got around to it :) She is painted on an 8"x10" stretched canvas and is available in my shop.

Also, I wanted to let you know that I have finally introduced my new giclee fine art prints! They are professionally printed on lovely Somerset Velvet paper. They are also professionally double-matted and ready to pop into a frame :) You can check out the details in the print section of my shop. So far the ones I have available are "At the Carnival":

"Marie Antoinette":

And "Through the Clouds":

I will be slowly adding more. I won't be able to do prints of every painting I do, but I am going to try to do most of them. I am also hoping to do ACEO prints soon :)

I hope that you are all having a great Friday! :)

Peace Angel

Hi everyone! Here is another painting I did a few days ago called "Peace Angel." This is going to the auction at Borealis Arts here in Tucson which is on Saturday, January 29th. The proceeds from this auction are benefiting the Tucson Tragedy Victim's Fund. There are lots of artists participating, I'm looking forward to seeing all of the amazing artwork there.

I also wanted to let you know that I am going to be introducing my new fine art prints within the next day or two. I will be sure to let you know as soon as they are in my shop :) I am only starting with a couple and will be gradually adding more. I am getting them professionally printed and they will also be professionally matted by my wonderful framer boyfriend :)

I want to apologize for not doing much blog visiting lately, I am so looking forward to doing that over the next couple of days and seeing what all of my wonderfully talented friends are up to! I hope you are all having a wonderful week, and I'll see you soon :)

Holding On To Love

Hi everyone, this is a painting I completed at least a week ago, I am calling it "Holding On To Love." This one was in my etsy shop but I have decided to donate it to Borealis Arts here in town, which is going to be holding some sort of auction this weekend in order to benefit the victims of Saturday's tragic shootings here in Tucson.

You may have seen in the news that 6 people were killed and 13 people wounded, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. This all happened about a 15 minute drive from where my mom and I were having lunch when we heard. It was so surreal. My heartfelt thoughts go out to all of the victims and their families and friends, I cannot imagine what they are going through. I hope that they can find healing and peace soon.

I hope that you all are having a lovely week, and I'll see you soon!
