Little Pink Bloom

Here is a little tiny 4"x4" painting I did yesterday, "Little Pink Bloom." I really like working on small canvases, I think they're so cute! I had this idea of the flower-head girl in my mind for a while (partly influenced by the garden of live flowers in "Through the Looking Glass"), and this little square canvas seemed perfect.

This one is called "A Conversation with the Moon." She is telling the moon all her hopes and dreams! I made her little dress out of some pretty scrapbook paper. I thought it looked very celestial, like there are golden stars on it.
Unfortunately I do not have prints in my shop yet as promised. I am learning that it is quite a process, and I want them to be just right! :) I will let you know when I do have some available.
I hope you are having a wondeful day, and I'll see you soon! :)

  1. I am delighted to see the flower head girl. So perfect and pink! And the Conversation With the Moon is just beautiful. I adore her dress and feel like I would like to be her. She seems so magical, just like the moon :)
