A Spot of Tea on a Rainy Day

Hello! I am enjoying a lovely rainy day today, which is quite a treat here in Tucson! The perfect day for a spot of peppermint tea in a special teacup, don't you think? :) My little bunny here (purchased from LittleElfsToyShop on Etsy) is even joining in with her pretty little teacup.

I've been staring out the window at the rain all morning...

What a wonderful day to do a little reading too! I've been looking through this Folk and Fairy Tales book my mom gave me from when she was little. I love the cover!

Its fun to flip through the pages and get inspiration from all the pretty illustrations :) I love all the princesses, carriages and castles!

However, I need to get to work on this piece I am working on! I started this yesterday, an acrylic painting of a little girl holding a cupcake. I am loving cupcakes right now! I have a lot of work to do on it still, but I thought I'd give you a little preview :)

Here are a couple of my new pieces also. This is a little belated since they've been in my shop a day or two already, but I'll show them to you anyway :) Here is a little MerPrincess Kitty...

And a little princess with her kitten, called The Best of Friends. Can you tell I have been in a polka dot mood? I just think they're so fun!

Oh no, Rosie finished off my tea while I was writing this! Better go get a refill :)
