Tea Time!

Here is my new painting, "Tea Time." I did this one on a wooden plaque. I bought a few of them, and thought it would be fun to try out some little wall hangings :) My boyfriend drilled a couple of ring hangers into the back for me so it can hang by a ribbon. Lucky for me he is a professional framer, so he is really good at things like that! :)

As usual my camera washed the colors out a bit, I think it looks cuter in person :) The pink is a little pinker than it looks here. This was definitely different to paint on, but it was a lot of fun! It is available in my shop.

I also wanted to show you a couple of commissions I did this week for my Dad. Below is a little portrait of my half-sister Alicia with her cat Lucas.

Then I also did a mini-painting of Lucas .

I am always thrilled to do commissions at reasonable prices, feel free to contact me if you are interested :) I am trying to decide what to start on today. I have so many painting ideas running through my head. Its great, but then I can't decide what to do! :) I'll figure it out though, and hopefully I'll be back to show you soon :) I hope you are having a wonderful day!

  1. LOVE Tea Time - what a sweet painting that is. :) And I love your commissioned painting. I had a kitty who looked just like that. His name was Patches. He was, quite possibly, the meanest cat alive, but he loved his mommy and daddy - just no one else! Great work! Theresa

  2. ~~forgiven you are for your camara not showing its truest can't help but adore your art!! these are wonderful pieces...warm wishes and brightest blessings~

  3. Aw,now arent these sweet? Such darling little faces! And love how you used the fabric in the hoop to frame the painting. Loveliness!~!

  4. love this painting on wood! i also love the way you have it hanging from ribbon. really pretty!
