Where has the time gone??

Hello my lovely blog friends!! I must apologize for being such a bad blogger lately! This time of year in Tucson the weather is just so lovely and there are so many fun things going on around where we live that I have been keeping much busier than usual! I have not been getting as much painting done as I would like, but I wanted to check in and let you know what I have been up to.

This is a painting I did a week or so ago, I haven't quite decided on a title yet. She is actually going into a show at Borealis Arts called 50 Under $150! I felt like doing something a little surreal-looking. My paintings "Free Bird" and "Metamorphosis" will be in the show as well.

The little painting below was a commission from my aunt--she loves Alice in Wonderland and wanted a mini painting of her with the Cheshire cat :) I hope she likes it! It put me in the mood to maybe do some more mini paintings in the near future.

I have also signed up for Suzi Blu's self-guided portrait workshop! I have never done any sort of online workshop before, so I am really excited! I spent most of yesterday watching the videos and I am just loving it! I feel like I have learned a lot already. I have been practicing some Suzi-style facial features:

I also want to introduce you to my new bike! Daniel and I went to a bike swap meet a couple weeks ago and we both found great bikes. Mine is a vintage magenta Schwinn Collegiate. And of course I had to get a basket for it :) Trips to the post office have become much more fun! :)

And last but not least, I have opened a little shop over at CafePress! Now you can buy Fair Rosamund mugs, tshirts, greeting cards, etc. :) I am still working on it and will add more items soon. Feel free to give me any suggestions of images you would like to see on particular products--I am limited because I only have a basic shop right now, but I will see what I can do :)
I am also planning on opening a shop over at Zazzle soon.

I may do a sale in my etsy shop for Black Friday, I will post again if that happens :)

I hope you are all having a wonderful week, and have a great Thanksgiving!! :)

Cute bike too, those are the kinds I really like- the basket part mostly, they strike me as sweet and old fashioned.

  8. Sigh... I wish we had lovely weather up here. It's just cold and muddy. Bleck.

But I adore your paintings! Their faces are so beautiful. I especially love the colors in the Alice painting, and the small size makes it so cute!
