A Mad Tea Party and A Giveaway!! :)

Once upon a time, there was a girl who found a curiously tiny golden key...

She found that this key opened a tiny magical door...

...and she was suddenly transported to a land of magical enchantment and sweet delights...

She happened to spot a distinctive hat amongst all of these lovely things...

...could it be...

...the famous Mad Hatter himself?! Yes, it was!

He grabbed a cupcake which was bigger than his head and invited her to join in on the festivities!

She tried to ask him what this magical place was and what it all meant, but his mouth was quite full...

She tried to decide which delightful morsel to sample first...

...and just as she was reaching for a licorice stick...

...she spotted a curious jar to her left...

She carefully lifted the lid...

...and took a bite.

Suddenly she felt herself growing up and up...even the Mad Hatter was quite shocked when she lifted him up with one hand!

Just as she was trying to decide what to do, she saw a lovely little bottle nearby...

She took a sip of the sweet liquid within...

...and phew! She was back to normal size again! She was now quite thirsty from all of those sweet treats, so she decided that it was time for a spot of tea.

Would you care to join her with a cup of bejewled tea?

Or perhaps you prefer your tea a la mode...

The girl knew that it was now time to go home, but she was sure that she would be back...

...because, as the Mad Hatter would agree...

  8. How delightful! And what special memories you have all created together, making it that much more special. I especially loved your unique and certainly collectible teapots. Were they from a childrens tea set or a grownups?

Either way, they were just gorgeous and the bejeweled tea was especially adorable. I'll have to surprise my grandchildren with that someday.

Thank you so much for a lovely Mad Tea Party 2010.
