Sunday Sketch

Here is my Sunday Sketch for this week. I have already started on the painting, so hopefully I will have it ready to share soon. I'm still trying to decide what to do for the background and what to name it. I also have another new painting which I am waiting to share tomorrow, or Tuesday at the latest :)

Be sure to check out all of the talented artists over at Sophia's blog Blue Chair Diary. I am also doing a giveaway of one of my paintings, so just scroll down to my previous post and leave a comment there to enter if you haven't already! Have a great Sunday! :)

  1. She is very pretty, love the butterfly. How about "The Last Butterfly of Summer".
Fall is approaching fast, it has been cold here but should have some nice weather this coming week. Daisy is doing good today, she even ate breakfast and 3 cookies, both things she hasn't done for over a week.

  2. I like the surreal feeling about this. Love her tiny body and her larger head, the butterfly as part of her vision, all this makes me want to get to know her better!

  4. This is really neat! It has a somber or serious tone yet with the joy and lightness of the butterfly - maybe metamorphosis - what is she thinking? Thinking about change? We will think on this nad get back to you..
